About the position

The Sr Compensation Analyst will be a key member of the DX Compensation team, responsible for supporting the internal Compensation team in planning, developing, implementing, and administering various compensation programs. This role emphasizes the creation and maintenance of compensation analysis tools, requiring strong analytical and partnering skills, as well as experience in compensation and development to enhance and automate compensation processes.

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement compensation analysis tools in partnership with the Compensation teams.
  • Develop, maintain, and administer data automation tools for efficient work processes.
  • Lead and coordinate compensation projects, including annual increase planning and market survey submissions.
  • Provide data reporting and analysis for compensation initiatives and make recommendations to senior leaders.
  • Identify, recommend, and resolve pay process/system challenges.
  • Collaborate with key partners such as HRIS, Workforce Management, Payroll, and Labor Relations for successful compensation changes.
  • Support the implementation of HR and compensation systems.
  • Assist with skill development within the team through training and demonstrations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Finance, Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate results effectively.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Access, MS SQL Server, VBA, and MS Visual Studio.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in both Union and non-Union environments.
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with Workday, SAP HR systems, and pay systems like CATS and MYTIME.
  • Experience with programming languages or cloud-based solutions such as Python and Snowflake.
  • Ability to quickly learn new applications and become proficient.
  • Prior experience with testing system enhancements and data integrations.
  • Experience developing future state recommendations and delivering end-user training.
  • Prior compensation experience.
  • Experience with data visualization software like Tableau or Power BI.
