About the position

The Sr Compensation Analyst at Republic Bank is responsible for overseeing compensation planning, long-term incentive plans, and executive compensation. This role involves researching job requirements, evaluating positions against benchmarks, and ensuring competitive salary offerings. The analyst will implement controls and processes to align compensation plans with the bank's strategic objectives, contributing to the overall success of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Strategize with management to design and administer compensation and incentive programs that align with the company's culture and strategic growth plans.
  • Ensure compliance of all compensation programs with company policies and regulatory requirements through audits and analysis.
  • Make pay recommendations for job offers and promotions, ensuring compliance with compensation policy for internal equity.
  • Evaluate and implement compensation systems and tools.
  • Collaborate with management to manage the annual associate compensation review process.
  • Conduct compensation modeling, salary benchmarking, and equity surveys to ensure market competitiveness.
  • Provide necessary information to the Board Compensation Committee for oversight of compensation plans.
  • Lead compensation surveys and perform job matching and market research as needed.
  • Evaluate job titles and descriptions to ensure accuracy and compliance with FLSA exemption status.
  • Prepare and present summary reports of job and compensation analysis information.
  • Responsible for EEOC reporting and affirmative action planning.
  • Maintain knowledge of compliance requirements and assist in implementation of new regulations.
  • Foster behaviors that support the Bank's values and corporate culture.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in salary modeling, compensation planning, executive compensation, or compensation analytics.
  • Proven experience with salary planning tools, job evaluation techniques, and market salary trends.
  • Extensive knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Professional certification related to compensation such as Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) is preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in financial services or banking industry is a plus.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems and compensation software.
