The Sr. Compensation Analyst at Veolia North America plays a crucial role in the design, development, and administration of the company's compensation programs and systems. This position is performed in a hybrid environment, allowing flexibility in working from various office locations including Houston (TX), Boston (MA), Paramus (NJ), or Milwaukee (WI). The analyst will provide expert support to corporate and field HR teams on a range of issues related to broad-based pay, incentives, commissions, and other compensation components as needed. In this role, the analyst will be responsible for conducting ongoing compensation analysis for HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and managers, ensuring that compensation practices align with the company's strategic goals. The analyst will also participate in various compensation project initiatives, contributing significantly to project deliverables. A key responsibility includes supporting the administration of the Annual Merit and Incentive review processes, which are vital for maintaining competitive compensation structures. The Sr. Compensation Analyst will engage in the review, analysis, creation, and administration of company-wide compensation strategies, collaborating closely with HRBPs and leadership to implement necessary changes within the organization. Additionally, the analyst will develop and document compensation procedures aimed at streamlining processes and enhancing efficiency. Another critical aspect of this position involves preparing compensation data models and analytics, particularly in the context of mergers and acquisitions. The analyst will assist the Compensation team on various projects, including job architecture, program design, budgeting, and the implementation of new compensation programs as applicable. The role also includes managing the survey process by recommending new sources, tracking the survey budget, participating in surveys, and resolving any follow-up issues. The analyst will oversee the survey participation process and analysis, ensuring that the data collected is accurate and actionable. Furthermore, the analyst will manage the Willis Towers Watson software system, ensuring the integrity of the data and maintaining the system effectively. Collaboration with HRIS and IT staff is essential to ensure that the HRIS and payroll systems meet compensation needs, including planning, testing, and implementing system upgrades and changes. The analyst will also prepare communications related to salary and bonus programs and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, performing related duties as necessary.
