About the position

As a Senior Consultant in Executive Recruiting at Nationwide, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing recruitment strategies to attract top executive talent. This position focuses on end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, and advising business partners on hiring practices. You will serve as a brand ambassador, ensuring that the recruitment process aligns with the company's commitment to exceptional customer care and diversity.

Responsibilities

  • Advise on the development and execution of executive leadership search strategies to meet talent demands.
  • Lead executive level recruiting, screening, interviewing, and selection for Associate Vice President and Vice President roles.
  • Facilitate the compensation offer process for candidates.
  • Identify and execute recruitment training needs for internal partners and conduct training as necessary.
  • Ensure adherence to employment policies and recommend sign-on bonuses for candidates.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external customers to support strategic recruiting initiatives.
  • Develop and lead executive recruitment strategies in partnership with HR and senior management.
  • Facilitate communication between business units and recruiting teams.
  • Develop positive relationships with external networks for sourcing and referrals.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor to other recruiters.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate studies in human resource management, business or related subject preferred.
  • Typically, 10 or more years of Executive Recruiting experience and progressive human resources management responsibility.
  • Proven knowledge of executive candidate sourcing and professional recruiting practices.
  • Knowledge of specialized needs in financial, technical, and insurance industry recruiting preferred.
  • Demonstrated skills in counseling, influencing, and strong communication.
  • Ability to analyze information and recruiting needs effectively.
  • Ability to achieve common ground with executives and balance multiple projects.
