About the position

As a Senior Consulting Manager specializing in Change Management at CBRE, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing change management strategies for medium to large-scale activity-based workplace projects. These projects are crucial as they lead to significant organizational changes. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of advisory services related to real estate operations and investments, leveraging your expertise to provide thought leadership and customized strategies that address the unique challenges faced by clients. In this role, you will be tasked with identifying potential risks and challenges associated with change initiatives. Collaborating closely with leadership, managers, and impacted partners, you will work to mitigate these risks, identify barriers to change, and develop effective strategies to overcome resistance. Utilizing proven methodologies and best practices, you will ensure that consistent and repeatable change management approaches are integrated into all programs and projects. Your responsibilities will also include creating detailed communication strategies and plans, as well as developing presentations, tools, and other client-facing materials. Building strong relationships with sponsors, business leaders, project managers, and change champions will be essential to your success. You will lead project teams to deliver client-facing projects effectively while mentoring and developing junior team members. Conducting thorough research and ensuring the accuracy of both quantitative and qualitative data analysis will be critical in formulating strategic recommendations and gaining consensus among senior leaders. Additionally, you will need to understand and adapt to the client culture, standards, and expectations in project delivery and materials.

Responsibilities

  • Provide thought leadership and develop customized change management strategies.
  • Identify risks and challenges and work with leadership, managers, and impacted partners to mitigate risks, identify change barriers, and develop strategies to remediate change resistance.
  • Employ proven methodologies and best practices to ensure consistent and repeatable change management approaches are embedded in program(s) and project(s).
  • Create detailed communications strategies and plans.
  • Create presentations, tools, and other client-facing materials.
  • Develop relationships with sponsors, business leaders, project managers, change champions, and others impacted by the change.
  • Lead project teams to successfully deliver client-facing projects.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members.
  • Conduct research and ensure accuracy of quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
  • Develop strategic recommendations and build consensus with senior leaders.
  • Understand and adapt to the client culture, standard, and acumen in project delivery and materials.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5 - 8 years of relevant experience in the areas of real estate, design, program management or consulting.
  • In-depth knowledge of change management theory and practical application.
  • Ability to own the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
  • Leadership capabilities including conflict management and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong client-service oriented work ethic driven by a desire to act.
  • Passion for strategic and creative problem solving.
  • Strong quantitative/analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfort in translating large data sets into compelling findings.
  • Ability to effectively communicate, present and articulate ideas and analyses.
  • Ability to work in multi-disciplinary and distributed teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products - PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Extensive organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive mindset.
