About the position

The Sr Consulting Manager (Portfolio Strategy) at CBRE is responsible for overseeing complex research initiatives that contribute to client deliverables in the realm of real estate operations and investments. This role involves managing multiple projects, analyzing financial data, and developing strategic real estate plans to meet client objectives. The position requires a blend of client-facing skills, analytical expertise, and leadership capabilities to drive successful outcomes in consulting engagements.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary client-facing representative, managing multiple projects and timelines to ensure successful delivery.
  • Review financial information and data for various deliverables, including market plans and process improvements.
  • Analyze the fiscal impact of real estate transactions using net present value analysis and IRR.
  • Present research on industry best practices and develop advanced strategic real estate plans for clients.
  • Implement processes and define portfolio management priorities for planning.
  • Collaborate with database managers to develop comprehensive management models for strategic consulting efforts.
  • Support the achievement of financial and operational measures established for clients.
  • Develop and distribute building, state, and segment reports for specific accounts or engagements.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to meet real estate requirements and maximize client portfolio value.
  • Seek and develop innovative methods for achieving departmental objectives.
  • Coach others to enhance their knowledge and expertise in the function.
  • Model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values and persuade stakeholders to embrace new perspectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-10 years of relevant experience, or a combination of experience and education.
  • Experience in healthcare and clinical portfolio strategy planning is desired but not required.
  • Innovative mentality to develop methods that exceed existing solutions.
  • Ability to solve unique problems using both standard and innovative solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Expert organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive mindset.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship.
