About the position

The Senior Content & Engagement Manager at Movement Strategy is responsible for managing the brand voice and content strategy for major clients across social media platforms. This role involves overseeing content creation, community management, and cross-functional collaboration to enhance brand engagement and growth. The position requires a strategic thinker with expertise in social media, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage content calendars and community interactions effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage social media content calendars for large global brands.
  • Develop content plans in partnership with strategists on content briefs.
  • Oversee content posting and strategic community interactions, addressing customer service inquiries.
  • Collaborate with strategists to develop channel and content strategy for brands.
  • Work with copywriters to implement the engagement tone of voice across accounts.
  • Manage content publishing and channel appearance, updating guidelines as needed.
  • Communicate insights and strategies to internal teams and clients.
  • Develop FAQ and pre-planned response documents for accounts.
  • Contribute qualitative insights to monthly and campaign-related content reports.
  • May manage direct reports, typically content editors and/or Social Media Managers.

Requirements

  • 5-6+ years experience creating and managing social media content for large brands, preferably in an agency setting.
  • Expert knowledge of major social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest).
  • Experience with social listening and publishing tools, such as Dash Hudson.
  • Impeccable writing, public speaking, and overall communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficient in Keynote, G-suite, and Airtable.
  • Ability to prepare client-ready documents and liaise with clients and brand agency partners.
