About the position

As a Senior Content Designer at Vimeo, you will lead content design efforts across multiple product teams, focusing on enhancing user experience through clear and effective communication. Your role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to create accessible and inclusive content that aligns with business objectives and customer needs. You will also contribute to the growth of Vimeo's content design practice by sharing knowledge and promoting best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead content design for product teams, becoming an expert in their features and customer needs.
• Conduct content discovery through inventories, audits, and competitive research.
• Collaborate on user surveys, interviews, and workshops to define a shared vision.
• Co-own the design process with product designers, creating and iterating on design concepts and user flows.
• Write clear, accessible interface content for various user interactions.
• Test and evaluate content using analytics and usability testing methods.
• Build collaborative relationships with product managers, designers, engineers, and marketers.
• Contribute to the evolution of content design standards, guidelines, and tools.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience creating UX content for SaaS products.
• Excellent writing skills with a strong understanding of English grammar and mechanics.
• Familiarity with information architecture, content modeling, and taxonomy principles.
• Experience with brand voice and tone standards.
• Commitment to accessibility and inclusion in content design.
• Understanding of how content design drives business growth.
• Experience in an agile development environment.
• Working knowledge of design methods and tools, including Figma.
• Samples of work demonstrating writing, designing, and research capabilities.
