About the position

Our Content Marketing team is responsible for developing an integrated content marketing strategy that drives global brand consistency, sales enablement, product integration, thought leadership, and meaningful customer experiences. As a key part of this high performing group you will work alongside a team of writers, and in collaboration with global marketing and demand generation teams, develop engaging content that helps drive sales pipeline and opportunities for the organization, while also aligning with business objectives and strategies. As the Senior Content Marketer at SAP Emarsys you will support content strategy for all global regions with a key focus on how Emarsys helps clients deliver superior customer experiences and accelerate business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Work with and help guide a team of Content Marketers on successful timely execution of content strategy.
  • Lead campaign content strategies that align with global marketing initiatives, writing original creative copy, blogs, gated assets (e-books and whitepapers), case studies, video scripts, sales email, social media copy, etc.
  • Adhere to key messaging to ensure consistent, effective communication across all channels and assets.
  • Provide regular updates of project status to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely and frequently across time zones with other stakeholders responsible for global marketing campaigns.
  • Create content themes/topics, plan, and execute according to a content calendar aligned to business objectives.
  • Measure, review, and improve content effectiveness, processes, and standards.
  • Stay current on the latest marketing strategies, trends, and industry techniques.

Requirements

  • Marketing or journalism background with 5+ years' experience creating compelling content in the B2B SaaS and/or MarTech space.
  • Experience in writing long-form content (e-books, whitepapers, case studies, research reports) and highly engaging digital marketing content.
  • Great project management, planning, prioritization, and organizational skills.
  • Experience collaborating and working within project management tools like Monday.com.
  • Experience creating a resource or library of organized content, considering SEO, translations, and version control.
  • Understanding of technical SEO and how to optimize content for search results ranking.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Apps.
  • Proven editorial skills with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Additional knowledge of retail, e-commerce and consumer products marketing preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of Wordpress.
  • Additional Spanish &/or Portuguese is a big plus.
