About the position

At Nylas, we are on a mission to simplify the integration of email, calendar, and contact management features into applications through our powerful APIs. As a Sr. Content Marketing Manager, you will play a crucial role in our marketing team, which, despite its small size, is highly skilled and impactful. This hybrid position combines content creation with data-driven growth marketing strategies aimed at engaging and converting our target audience, primarily technical business leaders in the SMB SaaS tech space. You will collaborate closely with Product Marketing, Growth, and cross-functional teams to create and optimize content that effectively showcases the capabilities of the Nylas platform. Your responsibilities will include writing high-impact content such as blog posts, white papers, email campaigns, and website pages that resonate with developers, engineering managers, product managers, and executives. You will partner with Product Marketing and Developer Relations teams to ensure that the content aligns with product releases and appeals to both technical and business audiences. Additionally, you will manage graphic design resources to support digital campaigns and customer-focused programs, while also collaborating with the Demand Generation team to identify and amplify high-performing content strategies. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and executing content-driven marketing campaigns, including landing pages and A/B testing, continuously measuring and optimizing their performance. A key aspect of your work will be to develop and maintain a strong, authentic voice for Nylas content, ensuring it speaks to both technical and business audiences without relying on industry clichés. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about crafting compelling content and driving growth strategies in a dynamic tech environment.

Responsibilities

  • Write engaging and high-impact content, including blog posts, white papers, email campaigns, and website pages, targeted at developers, engineering managers, product managers, and executives in the SMB SaaS tech space.
  • Partner with Product Marketing and Developer Relations teams to ensure content aligns with product releases and resonates with both technical and business audiences.
  • Manage graphic design resources to contribute to digital campaigns, product initiatives, and customer-focused programs.
  • Collaborate with the Demand Generation team to identify high-performing content and optimize strategies for strong SEO impact and high conversion rates.
  • Plan and execute content-driven marketing campaigns, including landing pages, email campaigns, and A/B testing, while continuously measuring and optimizing performance.
  • Develop and maintain a strong, authentic voice for Nylas content that speaks to technical and business audiences.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in content creation and/or growth marketing with a focus on the tech industry.
  • A keen understanding of technical products and the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, compelling content.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Hands-on experience with website analytics platforms (e.g., WordPress, Marketo, Optimizely) and a strong ability to interpret data to inform marketing strategies.
  • A robust portfolio of content that showcases your voice, style, and ability to drive engagement and growth.
