About the position

The Sr. Copywriter (Health & Wellness) will lead customer-facing communications in the health and wellness industry, ensuring brand consistency and delivering clear, compassionate, and scientifically-backed messaging. This role involves collaboration with various teams to align communications across platforms and enhance the overall customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Acting as the guardian of the client voice by ensuring consistency in all customer-facing communications such as emails, live chats, templates, FAQs, etc.
  • Regularly updating and maintaining communication templates for the CX team to ensure up-to-date language standards and compliance.
  • Working closely with Science and Compliance teams to ensure adherence to regulatory standards (FTC/FDA) for health-related claims.
  • Collaborating with Growth, Operations, and Brand teams to align CX communications with our client's broader messaging strategy.
  • Prioritizing clear language that supports our client's mission of health and well-being while enhancing the overall customer experience.
  • Monitoring and analyzing customer feedback to identify recurring themes or concerns for proactive addressing.
  • Implementing A/B testing for messaging to refine communication strategies based on audience preferences.
  • Tracking communication channel performance (open rates, response times) using data-driven insights for optimization.
  • Leading training sessions for CX team members on brand messaging standards and best practices in customer communication.
  • Mentoring junior CX writers (if applicable) by providing feedback on creating compliant yet customer-centric messaging.
  • Developing crisis communication plans alongside the Brand team.
  • Linking communication strategies to key CX metrics such as NPS & CSAT.
  • Championing the 'Voice of Customer' by integrating their insights into marketing & product development.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in copywriting for DTC in the health and wellness space
  • A talent for translating complex scientific information into clear and customer-focused messaging
  • A compassionate, customer-first approach with a deep understanding of customer journeys
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards (particularly FDA guidelines) balanced with a customer-centric mindset
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Familiarity with maintaining consistent messaging in customer-facing roles
