About the position

The Senior Copywriter at Amp is a key member of the creative team, responsible for developing impactful content across various mediums. This role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for crafting compelling messages that resonate with audiences. The Senior Copywriter will collaborate with design, strategy, and media teams, guiding junior writers and ensuring all copy adheres to client specifications. This fully remote position emphasizes creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.

Responsibilities

• Concept and write copy for various mediums including manifestos and banner ads.
• Uncover strategic insights from briefs and collaborate with teams to create compelling creative.
• Take ownership of projects from concept to delivery, guiding junior writers in the process.
• Collaborate with design, strategy, social, media, and development teams to deliver creative work on time.
• Build rapport with clients by developing presentation decks and presenting work effectively.
• Present strategic reasoning behind copy decisions while remaining open to feedback.
• Identify challenges as opportunities for creative solutions.
• Stay updated on social media content best practices and trends.
• Ensure adherence to style and brand guidelines, becoming a resource for the team.
• Contribute to new business initiatives as needed.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a copywriter in an advertising agency or related field.
• Strong portfolio of professional and/or speculative creative work is required.
• Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
• Strong understanding of brand and identity development, including voice and tone guidelines.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Comfortable with production processes and being on set.
• Pharma experience is a plus.

• Experience in mentoring or leading junior writers.
• Familiarity with digital marketing trends and strategies.
