About the position

Amp is seeking a Senior Copywriter to join their creative team. This role requires an experienced and collaborative individual who is passionate about creating impactful work. The Senior Copywriter will be responsible for conceptualizing and writing various types of content, guiding junior writers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver outstanding creative solutions. The position is fully remote and emphasizes a strong understanding of brand identity and voice.

Responsibilities

• Concept and write a variety of content from manifestos to banner ads across multiple mediums.
• Crack briefs by uncovering strategic insights and transforming them into compelling creative.
• Take ownership of work from concept to delivery, including researching, drafting, and revising copy while maintaining a core message.
• Guide junior and mid-level writers in their work processes.
• Collaborate with design, strategy, social, media, and development teams to ensure timely delivery of creative work.
• Partner with senior creative leads to enhance the quality of work.
• Build rapport with clients by developing presentation decks and showcasing work.
• Present strategic reasoning behind copy decisions while remaining flexible to feedback.
• View challenges as opportunities to propose solutions.
• Stay updated on social media content best practices and trends.
• Maintain a strong grasp of grammar and style guidelines, serving as a resource for the team.
• Contribute to new business initiatives as needed.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a copywriter in an advertising agency or related field.
• A strong portfolio of professional and/or speculative creative work is required.
• Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
• Strong understanding of brand and identity development, including experience with voice and tone guidelines.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Comfortable with production processes and being on set.
• Pharma experience is a plus.
