About the position

The Senior Copywriter at Advantage Sales & Marketing is a key member of the creative team, responsible for developing impactful content for various advertising and marketing campaigns. This role requires a blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and collaboration with other teams to produce high-quality copy that aligns with client specifications and brand guidelines. The position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility while maintaining a strong focus on delivering outstanding creative work.

Responsibilities

• Concept and write a variety of content from manifestos to banner ads across multiple mediums.
• Uncover strategic insights from briefs and collaborate with teams to create compelling creative solutions.
• Take ownership of projects from concept to delivery, guiding junior and mid-level writers in the process.
• Collaborate with design, strategy, social, media, and development partners to ensure timely delivery of creative work.
• Build rapport with clients by developing presentation decks and showcasing work effectively.
• Present strategic reasoning behind copy decisions while remaining open to feedback and revisions.
• Identify challenges as opportunities for creative problem-solving.
• Stay updated on social media content best practices and trends.
• Maintain a deep understanding of grammar and style guidelines, serving as a resource for the team.
• Contribute to new business initiatives as needed.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a copywriter in an advertising agency or related field.
• A strong portfolio of professional and/or speculative creative work is required.
• Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
• Strong understanding of brand and identity development, with experience in crafting voice and tone guidelines.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Comfortable with production processes and being on set.
• Pharma experience is a plus.
