About the position

The Sr. Customer Pricing Analyst at Avantor plays a crucial role in supporting the Strategic Partners team by prioritizing customer deliverables and projects, providing recommendations and solutions for pricing requests. This hybrid position involves collaboration with global commercial and finance teams, focusing on pricing execution, monitoring, process implementation, and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Strategic Partners team in prioritizing customer deliverables and projects.
  • Engage with the Strategic Partners Commercial and Finance teams globally.
  • Execute pricing strategies including list-based and net prices.
  • Monitor pricing processes and ensure compliance with contracts and internal audits.
  • Analyze price performance and provide insights and reporting.
  • Implement and harmonize customer pricing processes across the globe.
  • Manage pricing for specific Global Strategic Partner accounts, including performance reporting and audits.
  • Provide training to improve pricing culture and share best practices.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement solutions for pricing issues.
  • Collaborate with the Global Pricing Team on various pricing initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a business partnering role in a commercial setting.
  • Experience in strategic and international business with high-level stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to identify and develop business growth opportunities.
  • Project leadership skills and self-starter mentality.
  • Ability to work in a diverse and multicultural environment.
  • High level of numeracy and analytical skills.
  • Advanced Excel and data manipulation skills.
  • Good working knowledge of SAP and other pricing/analytical software tools.
  • Ability to produce accurate reports under tight deadlines.
  • Flexible approach to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for communication with cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-haves

  • Business Intelligence software knowledge, particularly SAP and QlikView.
