About the position

The Senior Customer Service Representative at GEODIS is responsible for managing customer service activities, including responding to inquiries, processing orders, and addressing customer complaints effectively. This role is crucial in ensuring customer satisfaction and operational efficiency within the company's warehouse distribution centers.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor service calls to observe CSRs' demeanor, technical accuracy, and conformity to company policies.
  • Input information into the computer to compile work volume statistics for accounting purposes and to keep records of customer service requests and complaints.
  • Complete contract forms, determine charges for service requested, collect deposits, prepare change of address records, and issue discontinuance orders.
  • Trace orders as required and notify customers of any activity concerning their merchandise, including shipping and tracking information.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency.
  • Minimum 2 years related experience and/or training.
  • Exposure to Tier 1 or 2 warehouse management system or comparable.
