About the position

The Sr. Customer Solutions Manager (CSM) for Strategic Accounts at AWS is responsible for guiding enterprise technology customers through their multi-year cloud journey. This role focuses on ensuring effective collaboration among AWS teams to deliver optimal outcomes for customers, emphasizing business results and industry-specific needs. The CSM will leverage their cloud architecture experience to assist customers in navigating operational, educational, and governance aspects of AWS adoption, while also driving strategic initiatives and managing key milestones.

Responsibilities

  • Establish a deep understanding of the customer's business vision, culture, and processes.
  • Accelerate AWS adoption through delivery and execution of cloud solutions.
  • Identify and align on strategic opportunities for large-scale migrations and digital innovation.
  • Serve as the customer's cloud journey coach and advocate within AWS.
  • Implement governance structures to manage the partnership with the customer and their AWS adoption.
  • Coordinate cross-functional resources to drive disciplined project delivery and quantify business benefits.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of leading large-scale, technical or engineering programs with a proven record of thought leadership and successful program completion.
  • 2+ years of customer-facing work, engaging with customer executives and technologists to solve business problems with advanced technologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, math, business or equivalent.

Nice-to-haves

  • PMP certification, or SCRUM/Agile, SAFe certification.
  • Experience implementing cloud services including migrations and modernization projects.
  • Experience leading technical and non-technical transformation project teams.
