About the position

The Sr. Cyber Security Analyst is responsible for creating cyber-intelligence solutions to prevent internal or external attacks on the company's email, data, e-commerce, and web-based systems. This role involves implementing and managing security solutions to safeguard digital assets while ensuring compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Information Technology and cybersecurity principles, with a focus on network technologies and communication protocols.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage security solutions to safeguard digital assets.
• Design and implement secure network and system configurations.
• Research attempted or successful efforts to compromise systems security and provide countermeasure recommendations.
• Provide information to management regarding the negative impact on the business caused by security breaches.
• Support technologies and tools in the Network Security area to safeguard company assets and data.
• Interface with the architecture team on the design and implementation of advanced security solutions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or equivalent formal training or work experience.
• Four (4) years of experience in IT information security.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and network technologies.
• Good Linux/Windows and scripting skills (shell, Python).
• Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach to system optimization.

Nice-to-haves

• Certifications such as CISS, CISSP, Network+, and Security+ are highly preferred.
