About the position

The Sr. Cyber Security Analyst is responsible for monitoring and analyzing security event logs to identify potential threats, conducting in-depth analysis of security incidents, and developing Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies. This role requires collaboration with IT teams to ensure timely remediation of vulnerabilities and proactive threat hunting to safeguard the organization's network infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security event logs from various sources to identify potential security threats
• Conduct in-depth analysis of security incidents, determine root cause, and recommend remediation steps
• Develop and implement Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies and procedures to protect sensitive data
• Perform regular vulnerability scans using tools such as Tenable and Rapid7 Insight VM
• Prioritize remediation efforts based on risk assessment and business impact
• Coordinate with IT teams to ensure timely patching of identified vulnerabilities
• Conduct threat hunting activities using tools such as SIEM, EDR, and CASB
• Monitor network traffic, detect anomalies, and respond to potential security threats
• Collaborate with the team to respond quickly and effectively in the event of a security breach
• Develop and maintain documentation on cybersecurity processes, procedures, and best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, focusing on threat analysis, incident response, vulnerability management, or DLP monitoring
• Proven experience with DLP solutions such as Symantec DLP, Netskope DLP, or similar technologies
• Experience with vulnerability management tools such as Tenable or Rapid7 Insight VM
• Experience or knowledge in Network Detection and Response (NDR) tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
