About the position

This position is responsible for managing and operating security solutions and platforms to detect vulnerabilities and security events that pose risks to the enterprise. The role involves performing lifecycle management activities for security platforms, assessing processes for improvement, and executing proactive security tool updates to enhance the organization's security posture in response to evolving cyber threats.

Responsibilities

• Complete day-to-day management and operations of assigned security solutions and platforms.
• Perform platform lifecycle management activities including patching, upgrades, and policy configuration.
• Continuously assess existing processes and procedures for improvement opportunities.
• Recommend and execute proactive security tool configuration updates to strengthen security posture.
• Support incident response by gathering evidence from logs and other sources.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of combined IT and security work experience, or 6 years of related work experience or military experience.
• Working knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows Server OS.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory.
• Knowledge of security issues, techniques, and implications across all existing computer platforms.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Results-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Strong organization and multi-tasking skills.
• Ability to operate effectively under high pressure and against deadlines.
• Understanding of information security frameworks and best practices.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Preferred knowledge of Antivirus solutions like Windows Defender/XDR.
• Preferred knowledge of CyberArk EPM Solution.
• Preferred knowledge of Group Policy management.
• Preferred knowledge of Encryption and scripting.
• Preferred knowledge of virtual technology.
