About the position

The Sr Cybersecurity Platform Operations Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day management and operations of security solutions and platforms to detect vulnerabilities and security events that pose risks to the enterprise. This role involves performing platform lifecycle management activities, assessing existing processes for improvement, and executing proactive security tool configuration updates to enhance the organization's security posture in response to evolving cyber threats.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of assigned security solutions and platforms.
• Perform platform lifecycle management activities including patching, upgrades, and policy configuration.
• Continuously assess existing processes and procedures for improvement opportunities.
• Recommend and execute proactive security tool configuration updates.
• Support incident response by gathering evidence from logs and other sources.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of combined IT and security work experience, or 6 years of related work experience or military experience.
• Working knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows Server OS.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory.
• Knowledge of security issues, techniques, and implications across all existing computer platforms.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Results-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Strong organization and multi-tasking skills.
• Ability to operate effectively under high pressure and against deadlines.
• Understanding of information security frameworks and best practices.
• Experience with security team operations in complex technical environments.
• Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Preferred knowledge of Antivirus (Windows Defender / XDR).
• Preferred knowledge of CyberArk EPM Solution.
• Preferred knowledge of Group Policy management.
