Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain cloud pipelines and architectures.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and collaborators to understand data needs and deliver high-impact solutions.
  • Implement established standard methodologies to ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Supervise and ensure efficient performance of data pipeline, fixing any issues that arise.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for data processes and systems.
  • Work closely with the engineering team to integrate new data management technologies.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies.
  • Mentor junior data engineers and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a data engineering role.
  • Proven experience with structured (SQL) and unstructured (JSON) datasets.
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala.
  • Experience with machine learning and data analytics.
  • Deep understanding of ETL techniques and data warehousing solutions on-prem and in the cloud.
  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms and repos such as Github, AWS, Azure, or Databricks.
  • Outstanding penchant to solve problems and capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
