As a Senior Data Analyst for Finance, you will play a pivotal role in driving data-driven decision-making and product excellence for data solutions at Aspire Bakeries. Your responsibilities will include leveraging your financial, data analytics, and product development expertise within the Finance area to utilize technology for enabling and improving outcomes. Your leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and hands-on analysis will be crucial in translating business needs, managing data solutions, and driving product development to deliver data services across the organization. Responsibilities

  • Identify business needs, analyze related processes, gather requirements, and define objectives for potential solutions.
  • Create technical specifications capturing the data, components, processes, inputs, outputs, and relationships of systems.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to identify data, refine processes, and derive insights.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, functional leads, and technical engineers to manage the data lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain a product roadmap prioritizing features aligned with goals, initiatives, and customer needs considering business impact, technology strategy, and community analysis.
  • Manage the product development lifecycle from ideation to backlog through delivery.
  • Build, configure, and implement solutions for business processes and analytics incorporating internal, external, public, and private data and information sources as appropriate.
  • Execute data modeling, pattern recognition, trend analysis, and anomaly detection tasks.
  • Evaluate systems and tools for data analysis including recommendations for improvements or new technologies.
  • Help automate data collection and reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Perform additional duties as required, assigned by supervisor or management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college in a related field or equivalent work experience in financial, quantitative, accounting, business, or engineering discipline.
  • In lieu of degree, 7+ years of experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience (Master's degree a plus).
  • 5+ years of experience in Data Analysis, Data Modeling, Business Intelligence/Decision Support/Data Engineering roles working with multiple disparate, complex datasets.
  • 3+ years of proven system/application experience in building data solutions.
  • 3+ years of experience with SAP BW and BI solutions with detailed understanding of SAP BI technology and its application is preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience with Cloud data platforms and services building Data Marts/Warehouses/Lakes, Pipelines, and Datasets utilizing Microsoft Azure, AWS, Datasphere is preferred.
  • Hands-on proven experience working with Finance organization on Financial Reporting, Planning & Analysis tools such as xP&A solutions from Jedox, SAP, Onestream or Board.
  • Experience in business analytics, e.g., enterprise reporting, executive dashboards, scorecards, alerts, subscription push reporting, etc.
  • Strong experience with BI analytical tools (e.g., PowerBI, BusinessObjects, Tableau, Domo, Alteryx or similar) working with structured data from ERP systems and other sources.
  • Hands-on experience as a Data Analyst or Business Analyst or Product Owner.
  • Experience with ERP systems and familiarity with Finance/Accounting and Manufacturing industry processes.
  • Experience working with Python, R, particularly for ETL/ELT or Data Science related tasks is preferred.
  • Some background in data structures, algorithms, and debugging is preferred.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, R).

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Familiarity with machine learning concepts and applications in data analysis.
  • Knowledge of financial modeling and forecasting techniques.
