About the position

The Sr. Data and Financial Analyst at Lehigh University plays a crucial role in driving data-driven decision-making and assessing the success of various initiatives within the Rossin College of Engineering. This position involves developing and maintaining data systems, conducting financial analysis, ensuring data governance, and creating comprehensive reports and visualizations to communicate findings effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data systems, dashboards, and reports to provide insights into faculty, department, and college performance.
• Create financial models, projections, and forecasts to support budget planning and decision-making.
• Ensure complex data accuracy, accessibility, and integrity.
• Design and build comprehensive reports with complex logic and multiple data sources for accreditation, budget requests, and other key College initiatives.
• Create data visualizations to communicate findings effectively.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Math, Business, Finance, Statistics or a related degree; Master's Degree in Statistics, Business, Accounting, Math preferred.
• Five to eight years of related work experience.
• Experience with Financial modeling, data analysis, banner financial experience, Tableau, Excel (Expert proficiency), SQL, Academic Analytics (preferred), LIRA.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
