The Sr. Data Architect at Intermountain Health plays a pivotal role in designing, creating, and managing the organization's data architecture. The Sr. Data Architect will also design and implement processes for the ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) process from various sources into the organization's data systems. They will translate high-level business requirements into data models and appropriate metadata, ensuring that data quality standards are met. Engaging with senior business stakeholders is crucial to secure strong engagement and ensure that project delivery aligns with the organization's strategic roadmaps. The architect will simplify existing data architectures, delivering reusable services and identifying cost-saving opportunities. Additionally, the role includes leading peer reviews and quality assurance of project architectural artifacts, defining and managing standards and guidelines to ensure data quality, and collaborating with IT teams, business analysts, and data analytics teams to understand consumer needs and develop effective solutions.
