About the position

In this pivotal role, you will ensure that the company's data ecosystem is robust, secure, and capable of supporting data-driven ambitions. You will design, create, deploy, and manage the organization's data architecture, defining how data will be stored, consumed, integrated, and managed by various data entities and IT systems. This position is crucial for making a real difference in health care by innovating and elevating the data management processes.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement effective database solutions and models to store and retrieve company data.
  • Establish rules and procedures for data sharing.
  • Examine and identify database structural necessities by evaluating operations, applications, and programming.
  • Assess system performance and make adjustments as needed to ensure all data systems meet company and legal requirements.
  • Coordinate with key stakeholders to guarantee system integrations align with data management foundation.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in data architecture.
  • Work closely with IT teams, data scientists, and data analysts to ensure system consistency.

Requirements

  • Several years of experience in a data-related field, preferably in data architecture or data engineering.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with NoSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with data modeling tools.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing and experience with platforms like Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Experience with Snowflake Data Management.
  • Deep understanding of data management fundamentals and data storage principles.
  • Knowledge of data security and privacy practices.
  • Understanding of systems architecture and ability to design scalable, robust systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
