About the position

The Sr Data Analyst role at SolGenie Technologies involves designing, developing, and maintaining applications, reports, and data structures for business applications in various Oracle environments. The position requires a strong understanding of relational databases and proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL, along with expertise in data modeling tools. This is a long-term contract position that emphasizes collaboration with business and IT to create innovative data solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications and reports for line of business applications in Oracle environments.
• Utilize SQL and PL/SQL for data manipulation and reporting.
• Work with complex SQL, including dynamic queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
• Employ data modeling tools like ErWIN and Visio for effective data structure design.
• Collaborate with business and IT teams to identify and implement creative data solutions.

Requirements

• 11+ years of experience in data analysis and relational databases.
• Strong understanding of relational databases including tables, views, indexes, and table spaces.
• Expertise in Oracle environments (8i, 10G, 11G, 12C).
• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL.
• Experience with complex SQL queries and Oracle development tools like SQL Developer and TOAD.
