About the position

This role involves performing preventative maintenance and corrective repairs in a Data Center operation, focusing on the oversight of electrical and mechanical systems. The position requires advanced skills to ensure the functionality and safety of critical systems such as UPS, generators, chillers, HVAC, and Building Management Systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily site inspections of all Mechanical & Engineering (M&E) systems and technical equipment, including servicing and maintenance.
• Complete assigned work according to established processes and procedures in accordance with the company's Environment, Health and Safety Policy.
• Ensure all safety processes and PPE requirements are followed.
• Coordinate third-party vendors, ensuring compliance with CBRE's developed processes, procedures, and all applicable laws/regulations.
• Accompany vendors on site visits as needed, ensuring site standards are met.
• Help build and develop work processes, Job Hazard Analysis reports, and SOPs for critical work with risk assessment.
• Ensure that CERM documents and logbooks are updated.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 2-4 years of experience in mechanical or electrical engineering, preferred.
• Knowledge of emergency response/standby/call out activities and protocols.
• Strong background in either HVAC or Electrical, preferred.
• Experience in a financial setting working with billing and payables; prior experience using a financial system; and the ability to use Microsoft Excel.
