Responsibilities

  • Processing a high volume of data entries for inventory, including manual entry of Bills of Lading (BOLs) into QuickBooks.
  • Ensuring accuracy of data entry by reviewing and correcting any errors in the inventory records.
  • Assisting with the scale desk, which includes interacting with truck drivers.
  • Maintaining accurate customer records and taking appropriate action based on the data.
  • Responding to inquiries related to inventory and order status, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
  • Collaborating with team members across three terminals to ensure smooth operations.
  • Utilizing QuickBooks for inventory management, ensuring no financial information is processed.
  • Handling high-volume data entry tasks efficiently without compromising on accuracy.
  • Utilizing skills in Inventory software to manage and track inventory effectively.
  • Answering inbound calls as required, providing prompt and accurate information to callers.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and other inventory software
  • Proven experience in high-volume data entry
  • Ability to answer inbound calls promptly and professionally
  • Knowledgeable in handling Bills of Lading
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with office equipment and procedures
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
