About the position

The company is currently seeking a Senior Data and Analytics Product Analyst to join its Pharmaceutical Solutions and Services (PSaS) Decision Intelligence (DI) team. This team is dedicated to fostering a data-driven culture and creating business value through advanced analytics. The successful candidate will be instrumental in delivering innovative digital solutions that enhance decision-making processes within the organization. In this role, the analyst will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate handling of incident and request tickets related to PSaS Data and Analytical Products, adhering to prescribed service level agreements (SLAs). The position requires a strong emphasis on customer service, as the analyst will oversee the Application Support professionals to ensure they provide excellent service while resolving issues. The analyst will also identify opportunities for automation, quality improvement, and performance optimization within the data and analytics environment. The role involves acting as an advisor or coach to new support members and managing the KTLO operations team as necessary. The analyst will ensure that all service level objectives are met and will provide high-level analytics, reporting, and support as needed. Additionally, the analyst will review data and analytical product designs for various initiatives before they are taken into KTLO, handling change approvals as required. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to manage KTLO operations effectively, and the analyst will serve as a gatekeeper to maintain the integrity of QA and production environments. Technical leadership is a key aspect of this position, as the analyst will need to stay updated on emerging data and analytical technologies and industry best practices. Effective communication of technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders is crucial, as is the ability to liaise between business and technology domains. The working hours for this position are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. CST, Monday through Friday, with the expectation of being available for calls during extended hours on weekends and holidays if necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely and accurate handling of incident and request tickets within prescribed SLAs for PSaS Data and Analytical Products
  • Ensure Application Support professionals provide excellent customer service in addition to resolving issues
  • Identify opportunities where automation can be adopted, quality be improved, and performance and cost be optimized in the data and analytics environment
  • Act as advisor or coach to new support members and manage KTLO operations team as needed
  • Ensure all service level objectives are achieved
  • Provide high-level analytics, reporting, and other support as needed
  • Review Data & Analytical product designs for various data-driven & analytical initiatives before KTLO intake, handle Change approvals as needed
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage KTLO Operations
  • Keep sanity of QA and Production environments by being a Gatekeeper
  • Demonstrate technical leadership by staying abreast of emerging data & analytical technologies and industry best practices
  • Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to handle communications with teams spread across different geographic locations
  • Act as a liaison between the business and technology domains

Requirements

  • Typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience
  • Deep technical expertise in managing large-scale processing systems
  • Deep technical expertise with Azure Cloud Services (Databricks, ADF, API's, ADLS, Snowflake)
  • Strong programming skills (e.g., Pyspark, SQL, JavaScript) for data manipulation and transformation
  • Expert data visualization skills (PowerBI, Tableau)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of the healthcare, distribution, or software industries is a plus
  • Ability to rapidly learn and evaluate new tools or technologies
  • Must have a strong customer and quality focus
  • Assist in developing and maintaining long-term stakeholder relationships and networks
  • Manage KTLO Operations around executive Reporting dashboards, reports, and analysis
  • Ability to quickly adapt and adjust to change
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Proven leadership and interpersonal skills

Nice-to-haves

  • Understanding of AI/ML machine learning and predictive modeling techniques
  • Demonstrated experience with enterprise data, especially ERP systems (SAP, JD Edwards, SFDC etc) & Integration patterns
