About the position

The Sr. Data Product Manager role at WEX is a remote position focused on driving the development and implementation of AI products and capabilities. The position requires a strategic mindset to align with corporate goals and a deep understanding of customer needs to create data-driven solutions. The successful candidate will collaborate with various internal stakeholders to translate their needs into actionable technical user stories, ultimately enhancing the company's data-driven transformation efforts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver best in class AI experiences and enable capabilities that delight customers and win in the market
• Deeply understand customer needs to define priorities and inspire the broader team
• Build the product roadmap, define user stories, and drive tradeoff decisions
• Identify new products and features on the customer's behalf
• Lead 1-2 collaborative teams to align on mission and deliver great results iteratively
• Leverage qualitative and quantitative data to measure results, inform roadmap, and achieve benefit, adoption, and financial results
• Collaborate with Product, Analytics, Engineering, and Business Leaders to drive scalable AI solutions
• Engage in technical discussions to define a product strategy, create value, and impact the direction of products and the business
• Define and analyze success metrics for both near and long-term product outcomes

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as a Product Manager in a modern, AI-driven environment, or 8+ years of combined Data Engineering, Analytics, AI Product Management experience
• Undergraduate degree in business, computer science or related fields; advanced degree is a plus
• Understanding of how features inter-operate within an overall product ecosystem
• A learning mindset to start developing hypotheses that are tested and iterated
• Experience in building self-service, AI products from scratch
• Strong ability to find value and leverage across an enterprise of product offerings
• Hands-on experience with big data frameworks and modern AI technologies
• Data-driven approach for everything you do, understanding your customers, roadmap prioritization, and measuring success
• Ability to work in an agile fashion with your teams: prototype, test, build, test, iterate
• Ability to nurture various projects in parallel, in different stages of maturity and velocity
