About the position

The Sr. Data Warehouse Developer will be responsible for creating and maintaining technologies, applications, and practices for the collection, integration, analysis, and presentation of data. This role focuses on ETL, data modeling, scripting, and standard ad hoc reporting, with primary responsibility for data source and warehousing layers. The individual will modernize DataStage ETL to Snowflake ELT format and partner with the business to transform data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain technologies for data collection, integration, analysis, and presentation.
• Develop and support ETL processes using DataStage.
• Build data warehouses in Snowflake for large enterprise-level data warehousing.
• Partner with business stakeholders to turn data into knowledge and insights.
• Modernize existing DataStage ETL processes to Snowflake ELT format.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of data warehousing and development experience.
• Experience with DataStage ETL development and support (triage, support, modification, new development).
• Experience building data warehouses in Snowflake.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in data warehousing within the retail industry.
• Business Analyst (BA) responsibility experience.
