About the position

The Senior Decision Scientist at CVS Health plays a crucial role in business analytics, leveraging statistical expertise to drive strategic decisions and enhance operational efficiency. This position focuses on data analytics, A/B testing, and the development of data pipelines, contributing to the company's mission of delivering human-centric health care. The role requires strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to support mental well-being operations.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct retrospective analysis using statistical modeling techniques such as Propensity Score Weighting and Propensity Score Matching.
  • Design, launch, and monitor various A/B tests to evaluate outcomes.
  • Analyze large volumes of data related to mental well-being services to uncover insights and inform strategic decisions.
  • Create and maintain data structures and pipelines to organize, collect, and standardize data for reporting and analysis.
  • Utilize data visualization techniques to effectively communicate analytical results and support business objectives.
  • Document projects, including business goals, data collection methods, results, and analytical metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and alignment with organizational goals.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in business analytics, data science, or a related field, with a proven ability to communicate and consult effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • 3+ years of professional experience with SQL and Python (Pandas).
  • 3+ years statistical background with experience in A/B testing and ROI analysis.
