As a Senior Demand Planner at Bosch Mobility Aftermarket, you will play a crucial role in managing demand planning across a multi-location, multi-customer network. Utilizing company forecasting and SAP/APO systems, you will apply Supply Chain Management (SCM) principles to understand and communicate the various factors that can influence and affect the forecast to Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams. Your responsibilities will include planning, ordering, and controlling inventory, as well as designing, developing, testing, maintaining, and supporting fulfillment systems for the supply planning group. You will also participate in all aspects of systems development, including project management, ensuring that the supply planning processes are efficient and effective. In this role, you will lead the monthly Sales & Operations Planning process, facilitating demand consensus building with sales and marketing teams and reaching agreements on supply and inventory plans with senior leadership. Continuous improvement will be a key focus, as you will identify and develop areas for enhancement related to the monthly forecasting process. You will perform trend analysis to report inconsistencies between forecasts and actual sales, create and maintain performance metrics, and assist in the monthly Consensus Forecasting Process. Additionally, you will participate in developing inventory and service level strategies to meet departmental Sales Forecast Accuracy (SFA) targets, and you will be involved in system enhancements and implementations to improve data integrity and planning processes.
