This position plays a crucial role in the management of the product lifecycle process within the company, assisting various departments such as Sales, Marketing, Materials/Purchasing Management, Operations, Supply Chain, and the Technical group. The primary responsibilities include the introduction of new products to the market, forecasting demand for current products, and managing the disposition of discontinued products. The individual in this role will be tasked with continuously improving the accuracy of demand forecasts for finished goods, which is essential for enhancing customer satisfaction, increasing sales, and improving overall supply chain effectiveness. Additionally, the position involves planning and controlling all scheduling activities for assigned plants. This includes balancing production and inventory levels with demand to meet customer service levels, inventory turns goals, and capacity utilization targets. The role also requires analyzing, developing, and testing programs and user interfaces necessary for the implementation or enhancement of Supply Chain systems. Troubleshooting system issues and collaborating with users to gather requirements for new functionalities and model enhancements are also key components of this position.
