About the position

The Senior Design Program Manager at Adobe will play a crucial role in operationalizing design processes within the Growth design field of the Adobe.com design team. This position focuses on managing design tools, building alignment among teams, and prioritizing work to meet business objectives and timelines. The role requires effective communication across various audiences and the ability to create clear plans from ambiguous situations, ensuring successful updates to executive partners.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate cross-functional partnerships with product managers, engineering leads, and design leadership to ensure alignment and effective collaboration.
  • Advocate for design excellence, streamline priorities, and drive consensus across teams and functions.
  • Break down sophisticated initiatives into manageable phases and align partners on priorities within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Translate high-level goals into actionable, well-structured plans that move initiatives forward despite organizational complexity.
  • Work with design systems to ensure program plans and processes support scalable UX patterns and components across applications, workflows, and use cases.
  • Convey the rationale behind program plans and design strategies to diverse partners through strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Proactively share insights and standard processes to elevate program execution and drive alignment across the Design organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of applicable experience in a design and technology environment.
  • Proven delivery of large-scale programs and projects.
  • Strong verbal, presentation, and written communication skills.
  • Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills with the ability to lead in an environment of ambiguity with a diverse range of partners.
  • A passion to have an influential role with the product team as a driver for design process and product strategy.
