About the position

As a UI/UX Designer, you will shape the user experience of high-impact financial applications used by industry professionals. You'll partner with engineering, product, and business teams to translate complex financial functions into intuitive, engaging, and visually stunning interfaces. Your work will have a meaningful impact on customer experience, enabling our users to engage confidently with sophisticated analytics and trading tools.

Responsibilities

  • Lead design initiatives across the entire product lifecycle, from concept to launch, iterating on designs based on feedback and evolving needs.
  • Create compelling, high-fidelity designs in Figma, ensuring seamless interaction and aesthetic quality.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers, particularly front-end developers using React, to bring designs to life, focusing on user functionality, accessibility, and responsiveness.
  • Develop and maintain design systems that streamline workflows and ensure brand consistency across applications.
  • Balance customer needs and product goals, aligning design decisions with user insights and business objectives.
  • Conduct cross-functional brainstorming sessions, incorporating input to refine design solutions and champion user-centric thinking.
  • Rapidly produce prototypes and wireframes, adapting to project needs with either high-fidelity or low-fidelity visuals.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in designing customer-facing applications, with a strong preference for experience in financial, trading, or data-rich environments.
  • Mastery of Figma and a solid understanding of design systems.
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies, particularly React and CSS, allowing for effective communication and collaboration with engineering teams.
  • A design portfolio showcasing user-centered applications, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to design for complex applications with a focus on simplicity, usability, and scalability.
  • A positive, resilient approach, open to constructive feedback and focused on continuous improvement.
