About the position

The Sr Designer at Disney is responsible for creating innovative and user-friendly designs for consumer-facing products across various platforms. This role emphasizes collaboration, creativity, and the ability to drive design solutions that enhance user experiences while maintaining brand integrity. The designer will work on multiple projects, contributing to both new designs and the optimization of existing solutions, all while being part of a dynamic and inclusive team culture.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate requirements with stakeholders as a point of contact.
• Define app and web experiences for consumer-facing products.
• Innovate new consumer experiences.
• Collaborate with a diverse set of stakeholders.
• Produce design solutions using sketches, wireframes, and high-fidelity mock-ups.
• Present design work to partners and stakeholders.
• Set an example for other designers through your design work.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Design or related field or equivalent training or work experience.
• Experience designing consumer-facing apps/websites and complex user flows.
• Expert understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
• Self-motivated problem solver with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
• Strong interest in and aptitude for learning new technologies and design skills.
• Ability to design within brand guidelines and contribute to design language.
• Expert knowledge of design tools such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite.
