About the position

As a Senior DevOps Cloud Engineer at GalaxE, you will play a critical role in implementing a robust zero trust architecture focused on identity and access management (IAM) and data encryption to ensure the highest levels of security. Your expertise will be essential in orchestrating and automating processes using tools such as Terraform and Ansible, which will facilitate software installation and infrastructure management. You will be responsible for building and maintaining Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines utilizing Azure DevOps, ensuring that our deployment processes are efficient and reliable. In this position, you will also be tasked with identifying and addressing security vulnerabilities within both infrastructure and applications. This includes setting up comprehensive monitoring and alerting systems using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights, as well as creating operational dashboards that provide proactive visibility into system performance and security metrics. Your work will primarily focus on the US Virginia and US Texas Cloud regions, where you will manage non-complex, 3-tier architecture environments. The role requires a hands-on approach, and you will need to be available for on-call support 24/7, ensuring that our systems remain operational and secure at all times. You will collaborate with a team of like-minded professionals who are passionate about leveraging cutting-edge technologies to drive business transformation and deliver innovative solutions to our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Implement robust zero trust architecture around identity and access management (IAM) and data encryption.
  • Work with Terraform and Ansible for orchestration and software installation.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
  • Identify and address infrastructure and application security vulnerabilities.
  • Set up robust monitoring and alerting using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
  • Create operational dashboards for proactive visibility.
  • Work on US Virginia and US Texas Cloud regions (non-complex; 3-tier architecture).
  • Provide on-call support 24/7.

Requirements

  • Hands-on Azure DevOps experience.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IAC) and Terraform, including creating modules, state files, and service principles for infrastructure creation/orchestration.
  • Knowledge of Ansible for software installation and configuration.
  • Experience with Dynamic and Static Scanning tools.
  • Familiarity with ADO/ActiveX Data Objects.
  • Experience with Python programming.
  • Experience with SonarQube and SonarType for code quality analysis.
  • Experience creating and working on CI/CD pipelines.
