About the position

The Sr DevOps Engineer (MCP) role is a contract position focused on leveraging extensive experience in DevOps practices, cloud security, and programming to develop and implement solutions within a multi-cloud environment. The position requires a strong background in AWS and Azure, along with hands-on development skills in Golang or Python. The engineer will be responsible for managing IAM and RBAC implementations, ensuring security compliance, and collaborating with teams to enhance cloud security measures.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IAM and RBAC solutions in cloud environments.
• Utilize Golang or Python for development tasks related to DevOps.
• Manage and deploy Kubernetes clusters with a focus on security models.
• Collaborate with teams to enhance cloud security practices and policies.
• Work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality solutions.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in DevOps practices.
• 5+ years of experience in AWS or Azure development.
• 5+ years of experience in developing and implementing IAM and RBAC.
• 5+ years of experience in programming with Golang or Python.
• Strong understanding of cloud security and security monitoring services.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with GitOps practices.
• Knowledge of zero-trust design principles.
• Hands-on experience with automation and development in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with policy as code (OPA/Cedar).
• Experience implementing Kubernetes RBAC controls.
