About the position

The Sr. DevOps Engineer position focuses on leveraging expertise in the banking and finance domain, particularly in asset management. The role requires a strong background in DevOps practices, cloud engineering, and data streaming technologies, with a specific emphasis on CI/CD tools and container orchestration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for automating and managing cloud-based infrastructure while ensuring the efficient operation of ALM tools in an agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Automate and manage cloud-based infrastructure using DevOps practices.
• Create and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins.
• Utilize scripting languages such as Python and Groovy for automation tasks.
• Implement and manage container orchestration with Kubernetes and AWS EKS.
• Optimize and maintain ALM tools like Bitbucket, Git, and SonarQube in enterprise environments.
• Work with data streaming technologies such as Kafka and AWS Kinesis.
• Collaborate in agile environments to adopt new tools and methodologies.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in the banking/finance domain, particularly in asset management.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools, especially Jenkins.
• Strong scripting skills in Python and Groovy.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka for data streaming and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Advanced knowledge of AWS cloud services and related technologies.
• Experience with platform automation tools like CloudFormation and Terraform.
• Familiarity with ALM tools such as Bitbucket, Git, and SonarQube.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Apache Spark and Flink for data processing.
• Knowledge of agile methodologies and practices.
