About the position

The Sr DevOps Engineer role at VDart Group involves leveraging extensive experience in cloud security and programming to enhance the security and efficiency of cloud-based systems. The position requires strong skills in Python and Golang, with a focus on API development and security services across various cloud platforms. The engineer will work both independently and collaboratively to design and implement security measures, ensuring robust protection across all layers of the cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement security measures for cloud environments using Python or Golang.
• Design and author policy as code (OPA/Cedar) or CSP Service Control Policies.
• Collaborate with teams to enhance security across OS, network, application, data, container, and CI/CD layers.
• Utilize cloud security tools such as AWS Security Hub, Azure Security Center, or Google Cloud Platform Security Command Center.
• Work on automation and observability engineering to improve system efficiency.
• Engage in DevOps practices to facilitate solution delivery through CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

• 7 years of experience in Python programming.
• 7 years of experience in Golang programming and cloud security.
• 5 years of experience in OS networking.
• Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with security services such as IAM, Security Hub, and Security Center.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with SIEMM/SOAR/CNAPP solutions.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes security and cloud security certifications.
• Good understanding of IAM concepts and zero-trust design principles.
• Hands-on experience with CSP security tools and designing SIEM/SOAR solutions.
• Proficiency in automation and API development.
