About the position

The Sr. DevOps Engineer position at Mphasis is a full-time role focused on the asset management business unit within the banking and finance domain. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in DevOps practices, particularly with CI/CD tools, cloud services, and data streaming technologies. This role requires a strong understanding of AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes, along with a commitment to working in an agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and other tools.
• Utilize AWS cloud services for deployment and management of applications.
• Automate platform processes using Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Work with data streaming technologies such as Kafka and AWS Kinesis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in DevOps roles, specifically in the banking/finance domain.
• Deep experience with CI/CD tools, particularly Jenkins.
• Proficiency in AWS cloud services, Docker, and Kubernetes, including AWS EKS.
• Strong programming skills in Python and Groovy.
• Experience with ALM tools like Bitbucket, Git, and Sonar.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in asset management, particularly in fixed income, equities, and alternatives.
• Familiarity with data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark or Flink.
