About the position

The Sr. DevOps Engineer role is a long-term contract position based in Irving, TX, requiring extensive experience in DevOps practices, particularly in AWS and Linux environments. The position focuses on automating infrastructure, managing CI/CD pipelines, and utilizing monitoring tools to ensure system reliability and performance.

Responsibilities

• Provision, configure, and manage AWS services and resources.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Automate infrastructure management using Terraform.
• Monitor system performance and logs using AWS CloudWatch and other monitoring tools.
• Administer and optimize Linux systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Collaborate with development teams to enhance deployment processes and troubleshoot issues.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in DevOps and related technologies.
• Proficiency in AWS services and resource management.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Go, or Shell scripting.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Datadog and Splunk.
• Expertise in creating and configuring CI/CD pipelines.
