About the position

The Sr DevSecOps Engineer will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and administering developer tools across multiple environments. This position involves working on the architecture for products such as CI/CD platforms and Git infrastructure, while ensuring system security and maintenance. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Linux system administration, cloud technologies, and software development processes, and will be expected to support engineering applications in a secure environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and administer developer tools in multiple environments.
• Support engineering applications, Windows and Linux systems, VMWare, Atlassian Tools, Jenkins, Kubernetes.
• Perform system maintenance including auditing logs, patching/upgrading software, backups, and user account management.
• Interface with internal customers, security, and management teams to maintain production systems and resolve issues.
• Support the deployment of applications in secure environments.
• Work with software development lifecycle concepts such as Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), DevOps, CI, and CD.
• Install, maintain, and support multiple Windows and Linux based servers on physical and virtual platforms.
• Support VMWare Tanzu environments and DevSecOps tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 8+ years of engineering experience.
• SQL database or relational database skills.
• Experience in Linux system administration and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of IT system security standards.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Linux servers, scripting, and support (Ansible).
• Experience with specialized network environments (air gapped, limited access).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IAC) and cloud-based technologies (AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes).
• Experience with VMWare technologies (vSphere ESXI, vCenter, Tanzu).
• Experience with AWS services (KMS, VPC, IAM Roles, S3, EC2).
• Experience with DevSecOps tools (Jenkins, Artifactory, Kubernetes).
