In this role, the Senior DevSecOps Engineer will develop and maintain technical solutions while ensuring adherence to engineering and architectural design principles. The focus will be on efficiency, reliability, scalability, and security, particularly in utilizing modern DevSecOps pipelines to enhance developer effectiveness. Responsibilities include planning, evaluating, designing, operationalizing, and supporting solutions in compliance with enterprise and industry standards. The engineer will also provide expert advice on system/application administration, installation, configuration, platform planning, design, integration, and release management. The position requires a deep understanding of the business, technical environment, and relevant technology areas, making the engineer a primary subject matter expert. The role involves working independently or autonomously on a diverse range of tasks and operational support of solutions, ensuring that all engineering strategies align with the introduction of tools and automation across applications, platforms, and infrastructure. Ultimately, the Senior DevSecOps Engineer will lead the creation of solution options, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure that all technical deliverables meet quality standards and business requirements. This role is integral to advancing TD's engineering practice through collaboration, research, and problem-solving skills, while also maintaining a culture of risk management and control.

Responsibilities

• Lead the creation of comprehensive end-to-end solutions for technology partners.
• Develop and maintain technical solutions ensuring adherence to engineering and architectural design principles.
• Provide technical expertise focusing on efficiency, reliability, scalability, and security.
• Plan, evaluate, design, operationalize, and support solutions in compliance with enterprise and industry standards.
• Act as a subject matter expert in multiple areas and consult with clients or project teams.
• Develop and document detailed solution designs and act as an application SME throughout the design and development lifecycle.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to quality and standards compliance.
• Identify and implement improvements/solutions to enhance customer experience and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with technology partners to define metrics and performance goals for applications.
• Research and analyze business requirements to recommend optimal solutions.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree, Post Graduate degree or Technical Certificate in a relevant field.
• 5-7 years of relevant experience in DevSecOps, DevOps, or a related field with a strong focus on security.
• Strong academic background in computer science or engineering.
• Proven track record in designing and implementing automation, pipeline, and security solutions.
• Deep knowledge of security tools (e.g., SAST, DAST, SCA) and CI/CD systems (especially Jenkins, Github Actions/Workflows).
• Proficient in modern programming/scripting languages and container security.

Nice-to-haves

• Graduate degree in a relevant field is a plus.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform).
• Demonstrated ability to provide technical leadership in projects of moderate to high complexity.
