About the position

The Senior DevSecOps Software Engineer III at TD Bank Group is responsible for leading the creation of comprehensive end-to-end solutions for projects and platforms, ensuring technical design and delivery align with stakeholder requirements. This role is pivotal in the transformation from DevOps to DevSecOps, focusing on enhancing developer effectiveness and security through modern practices and pipelines. The engineer will provide technical expertise, develop and maintain solutions, and ensure compliance with engineering and architectural standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the creation of comprehensive end-to-end solutions for technology partners.
  • Develop and maintain technical solutions ensuring adherence to engineering and architectural design principles.
  • Provide technical expertise focusing on efficiency, reliability, scalability, and security.
  • Plan, evaluate, design, operationalize, and support solutions in compliance with enterprise and industry standards.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in multiple areas and consult with clients or project teams.
  • Develop and document detailed solution designs and act as an application SME throughout the design and development lifecycle.
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to quality and standards compliance.
  • Identify and implement improvements to enhance customer experience and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with technology partners to define metrics and performance goals for applications.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree, Post Graduate degree or Technical Certificate in a relevant field.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in DevSecOps, DevOps, or a related field with a strong focus on security.
  • Strong academic background in computer science or engineering.
  • Proven track record in designing and implementing automation, pipeline, and security solutions.

Nice-to-haves

  • Graduate degree in a relevant field.
  • Deep knowledge of security tools (e.g., SAST, DAST, SCA) and CI/CD systems (e.g., Jenkins, Github Actions).
  • Proficient in modern programming/scripting languages and container security.
