About the position

The position is responsible for implementing enterprise automation and monitoring solutions for the datacenter, reporting to the Manager of the Automation team. The role requires independent thinking and project management skills to drive client projects to success. Responsibilities include the implementation, maintenance, testing, and enhancement of the enterprise application portfolio, as well as coordinating with clients and vendors to support the automation toolset.

Responsibilities

  • Implement enterprise automation and monitoring solutions for the datacenter.
  • Coordinate with clients and vendors for analysis, design, development, implementation, and support of the Datacenter Automation toolset.
  • Maintain and enhance the designated enterprise application portfolio.
  • Provide 24x7 support for automation tools and projects, including on-call after hours.
  • Document work processes and communicate effectively with clients.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience configuring and managing servers in datacenters (RHEL, AIX, Windows).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with AWX/Ansible Automation Platform.
  • Good understanding of cloud providers (Azure, Google, AWS) and network security principles.
  • Programming/scripting experience in Python, PowerShell, Bash, etc.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps and developing CI/CD automation solutions for multiple technologies, including Kubernetes.
  • Experience integrating DevTestSecOps tooling (e.g., Jenkins).
  • Experience with SQL queries (SQL/Oracle/DB2) and report writing is a plus.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • ServiceNow/CMDB knowledge.
  • Experience with VS Code debugging.
  • Experience using Terraform and other enterprise-level automation toolsets.
