About the position

The Sr. Developer (Business Intelligence) at National Medical Care, Inc. is responsible for leading software verification and validation research projects, from concept formulation to implementation. This role involves building and migrating business intelligence solutions, designing complex reporting systems, and ensuring effective data management and analysis to support business needs.

Responsibilities

• Build the Korus product and its reporting module using Business Objects Development.
• Analyze and plan migration of the existing BI suite to the upgraded BOBJ platform.
• Design complex universes and develop reports in Web Intelligence (WebI) and Crystal Reports.
• Perform admin-related tasks using Central Management Console (CMC) for content and server management.
• Proactively monitor and support the parallel reporting environment based on Stored Procedures and Business Intelligence Suite data sources.
• Drive the creation of high-value business intelligence leveraging proven implementation methodology.
• Design enterprise and departmental Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, and Reporting solutions as per business needs.
• Implement Disaster Recovery Process.
• Migrate existing reports from BOBJ to Microsoft PowerBI Platform.
• Integrate BI platform to Application Tier using Software Development Kit.
• Utilize and participate in the full system development cycle.
• Follow change management in promoting changes from development and staging to production environment.
• Analyze, design, code, test, and implement application enhancements, and provide general production support.
• Utilize Data Warehouse Concepts in Dimensional Data Modeling using Star Schema, Multiple Star Schema, and Snowflake Schema.
• Write ETL tools alongside Korus Data Architect.
• Work with users to gather, refine, and document report requirements for new development, enhancements, or modifications of existing functionality.
• Perform data validation and analysis for new business requirements.
• Create and unit test reports for new and existing BI systems, including the implementation of ad-hoc reporting tool solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.
• 3 years of experience as a Business Intelligence Developer.
• 3 years of experience with SAP Business Objects, Power BI Reports, Crystal Reports, and Dashboards.
• Experience leading report migration from SAP Business Objects to Power BI and developing new reports/dashboards.
• Experience with Oracle 11g and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience with BO Java SDK Integrations to front-line in-house applications.
• Experience with Power BI REST APIs for embedded analytics and automation.
• Experience exercising Data Warehouse Concepts through Universe/BI Designer.
• Experience with MDX and DAX queries for data modeling in Power BI Desktop.
