About the position

The Sr. Developer (Business Intelligence) at National Medical Care, Inc. is responsible for leading software verification and validation projects, from concept to implementation. This role focuses on building and enhancing the Korus product and its reporting module, migrating existing BI solutions to upgraded platforms, and designing complex reporting solutions tailored to business needs. The position requires a strong background in Business Intelligence development and a proactive approach to problem-solving and project execution.

Responsibilities

• Build the Korus product and its reporting module with Business Objects Development using Business Objects XI3.1, 4.2 and higher versions.
• Analyze and plan migration of the existing BI suite to new upgraded BOBJ platform.
• Design complex universes and develop reports in Web Intelligence (WebI) and Crystal Reports.
• Perform admin-related tasks using Central Management Console (CMC) such as content management and server management.
• Proactively monitor and support parallel reporting environment based on Stored Procedures and Business Intelligence Suite data sources.
• Drive the creation of high-value business intelligence leveraging proven implementation methodology.
• Design enterprise and departmental Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing and Reporting solutions as per the needs of the business.
• Implement Disaster recovery Process.
• Migrate existing reports from BOBJ to Microsoft PowerBI Platform.
• Integrate BI platform to Application Tier using Software Development Kit.
• Utilize and participate in the full system development cycle.
• Follow change management in promoting changes from development and staging to production environment.
• Analyze, design, code, test, and implement application enhancements, as well as provide general production support.
• Utilize Data Warehouse Concepts in Dimensional Data Modeling using Star Schema, Multiple Star Schema and Snowflake Schema to reporting model databases.
• Write ETL tools alongside of Korus Data Architect.
• Work with users to gather, refine, and document report requirements with regard to new development, enhancements, or modification of existing functionality.
• Perform Data validation and analysis for new business requirements.
• Create and unit test reports for new and existing BI systems, including the implementation of any ad-hoc reporting tool solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.
• 3 years of experience as a Business Intelligence Developer.
• 3 years of experience with SAP Business Objects, Power BI Reports, Crystal Reports and Dashboards, leading report migration from SAP Business Objects to Power BI, and new report/dashboard development.
• Experience with Oracle 11g and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience with BO Java SDK Integrations to front-line inhouse applications.
• Experience with Power BI REST APIs for embedded analytics and automation.
• Experience exercising Data Warehouse Concepts through Universe/BI Designer.
• Experience with MDX and DAX queries to design data modeling in Power BI Desktop.
